                                                      Books made into Movies 2013-2015

On average, Hollywood releases more than three dozen movies based on books each year. With creative plots and characters, novels, short stories and poems give filmmakers fresh ideas.
Futuristic dystopias, tragic love stories and non-fiction dominate the 2014 list of film adaptations, which includes Veronica Roth's Divergent, John Green's The Fault in Our Stars and Robert M. Edsel's The Monuments Men. Sequels based on books -- like the final installment of director Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy – will probably break box office records this year.
